Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, twelve-step program that’s based on the words of Jesus. At Compass, we offer two types of meetings for you to attend. Our Open Share meeting is on Fridays at 7 pm. Our Twelve Step small groups meet on Wednesdays at 7 pm. Both meetings are held at the Compass Ministry Center at 6117 Brockton Ave., Riverside, CA 92506. Park in the uncovered back lot off Cover St. The covered lot is tenant-reserved parking.
Open Share Meetings
Guests are always welcome at the Open Share meeting on Fridays.
The Open Share meeting begins with a lesson with all participants gathered in a large group. After the lesson, we break into smaller groups—men meet with men, women with women. Sharing is optional in these small groups.
The large and small group meetings usually run one hour each, two hours total. These meetings are always open to the public.
Twelve Step Meetings
Twelve Step Meetings are small groups where participants work through a structured Twelve Step program designed by Celebrate Recovery. In the beginning of these groups, newcomers may attend. However, once groups reach a certain point in the program, they’re restricted to existing participants. Newcomers may continue to attend Open Share meetings until new groups are formed.
Admission to all Celebrate Recovery meetings is FREE. However, participants of the Twelve Step Meetings are encouraged to purchase their own group workbooks, if they’re able to do so.
OUR STEP STUDIES ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED.
All Celebrate Recovery groups maintain strict confidentiality. This promotes an atmosphere of trust and enables recovery. We have a saying that WHO you see here, WHAT you hear here, WHEN you leave here, STAYS HERE. We’re committed to confidentiality and anonymity. The guidelines/rules that apply to group meetings protect us from judgment and being “fixed”. Meetings are a safe place where you can take off your “mask” and be real and honest without fear.
Drop by and check us out. Start your journey to lasting joy, peace and freedom.
